We make full use of a proprietary bead feature amount analysis function, and a 3D shape synthesis function based on the robot’s position information and data from a 3D camera. It is now possible to easily make judgments regarding acceptability, even for weld beads that require multiple measurements, such as weld beads on curved surfaces and pipe welds. On a technical level it is the world’s top weld bead inspection system, and it supports bead inspection for both arc welding and laser welding.
