This high-grade dark satin metallic plating cannot be imitated by coating plastic or using an in-mold film process. A rich variety of color variations is possible, by combining three kinds of satin tones with four kinds of dark tone platings, for 12 authentic tonal expressions. In addition to this advanced aspect of design, functionality such as adhesion and corrosion resistance also satisfies the standards for each automotive manufacturer.
