■ Expansion pipe fittings (Domestic share: 70%)

In Japan, where there are many earthquakes, it is a challenge to improve the seismic resistance of water supply and drainage pipes. Our main product, the “Nice Joint” stainless steel fitting, has seismic resistance that is 2.5x or greater than the standard required by the Building Standards Law. The product’s overwhelming seismic resistance was demonstrated during the Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the Kumamoto Earthquakes, earning a high level of trust from the industry. This product is used widely throughout Japan, especially for important structures such as Haneda Airport, government buildings, major regional hospitals, and large commercial buildings. It won the Special Award (Product/Technology Development Division) at the 5th Monozukuri Japan Awards in 2013
