We use large automated lines for the mass production of tofu. By increasing the production volume per hour, we can reduce the cost of production and use better quality bittern additive and high-protein soybeans to offer high-quality products at prices similar to competitors. We also have advanced production technology, such as multi-cut tofu and double-sided baked tofu.

Manually baking and cutting tofu results in reduced production efficiency due to heavy labor. Although automated production requires advanced technology and a large investment in equipment, active investment in facilities and equipment in addition to the technology and know-how that we have accumulated over many years allows us to cut and bake both sides of tofu automatically. We have achieved advanced technology for the process of cutting tofu, for equal cuts in 8, 9, 14, 18, 32, and 75 divisions, allowing mass production and a stable supply.

Tofu is healthy food, with stable demand and no overseas products sold in Japan. In addition to the headquarters plant in Hiroshima Prefecture and the Kansai plant in Shiga Prefecture, Yamami plans to construct a new plant in Shizuoka Prefecture in 2019.
