Wood One manages approximately 40,000 hectares of forest in New Zealand, and uses its know-how of forestry, cultivated over many years, for integrated production from seedlings to wood products. We use a 30-year cycle of “afforestation” – “cultivation” – “logging” – “afforestation”.

Using wood that is cultivated through a 30-year cycle in New Zealand, We have established a business model in which a single tree is a source for solid wood, laminated wood, and veneer for plywood, and the wood pulp (which would traditionally be disposed of) is processed into wooden boards, so that no wood resources are wasted. Currently, while illegal logging is a worldwide problem, the mission of this model is to create a future for the use of our limited resources.
