■ “Technology for commercializing the power of microorganisms”
(technology for automating, mechanizing, and plant-equipping the management of culture conditions that enable microorganisms to produce valuable substances as intended; in other words, our job is to transform the phenomenon of “fermentation,” which occurs randomly in nature, into a “technology” that can be reproduced at any time in a factory. The specific technology is “solid culture technology.” This is a technique for cultivating useful fungi such as koji mold on the surface or inside solid raw materials like rice, wheat, and soybeans. This process is a critical factor in determining the quality and productivity of fermented foods. Through years of experience and research, we have advanced this technology to support stable koji production.

Work satisfaction × Work ease. Creating an environment where employees can work with vitality, both physically and mentally.
To realize these visions, our company is focusing on pursuing both “work ease” and “work satisfaction.” In terms of “work satisfaction,” we have established systems such as “individual five-year visions,” “internal internships,” and “manufacturing workshops” to actively support individual growth. In terms of “workplace ease,” we have been proactively promoting diversity for 16 years, and employees can utilize systems such as reduced working hours and nursing leave until their children graduate from elementary school (beyond the legal requirement!). Additionally, we have various systems in place, including time-based paid leave and refreshment leave, among others. Furthermore, we actively promote health management by creating an environment where everyone can work with vitality, both mentally and physically, through initiatives such as the “Fujihara Dining Hall,” which utilizes our customers’ products (miso, soy sauce, sake, etc.) to allow employees to feel the results of their work. We also hold many internal events to improve the quality of relationships within the company. With a 100% refresh leave utilization rate, an average of 15.3 days of paid leave taken per year (2024 fiscal year results), and a 100% return-to-work rate after maternity and childcare leave, we have created an environment where employees can support one another and effectively utilize these systems.
